Chapter Four: Full Circle
Years later, Ananya stood before a room full of students, scribbling reaction mechanisms on the whiteboard. She was now Dr. Ananya Sharma, a research scientist and part-time lecturer at a reputed university. Her passion for chemistry had led her exactly where she wanted to be—and somewhere along the way, love had walked beside her.
Ayush, now a published researcher and innovator in chemical technology, was known in academic circles for his calm brilliance. Though their paths had often diverged—different cities, different research areas—they always found a way back to each other.
One evening, Ananya received a letter. Not a text. Not an email. A handwritten letter with familiar, steady handwriting. It read:
> “There’s a conference next week. Not just any conference—our first one. The science fest in Mumbai, remember?
Meet me there. Where it all restarted.”
Curious and smiling, she traveled to Mumbai again. This time, the hall was different—sleeker, more modern—but the emotions were the same. As she walked in, she saw Ayush standing near a display booth, holding something behind his back.
He greeted her with a nod and a nervous grin. Then, he handed her a new notebook.
It looked almost identical to the one from years ago—but this one had a title embossed in gold:
“Our Formula for Forever”
Inside were pages already filled—with memories, pictures, tiny pressed flowers from cities they’d visited, a copy of their first class notes, and at the very end—a single question:
> "Ananya, will you marry me?"
Her eyes widened. She looked up—and there he was, down on one knee, holding not just a ring, but every moment they’d lived through together.
“Yes,” she said, without hesitation. “A thousand times yes.”

And just like that, the girl who once joined a coaching class for chemistry…
…found her greatest reaction in love.
The End.
